Summer is here

I'm so excited with this weather - we've had so many hot days!!! We've gone over to the park and bought popsicles - we broke out the sprinkler yesterday - I can even see playing in the stream at Williams Park in the near future. We've even broken out the old sun screen - the boys already have little tans. Okay not tans but they are so white. The boys had a blast with the sprinkler - Christian just stood in the sprinkler with his arms bent and up shivering -I had to tell him that he could move. Ethan told him to sit on the warm ground and then when he still didn't warm up Ethan gave him a hug b/c his body was warm. I love summer.

Hockey Afternoon in Vancouver

Well, this is not Why-von writing, this is Why-not her hubby. I am writing 'cause I am talking about a man's type of thing. Not farting, burping and scratching, but hockey. We were given a couple of tickets for a Memorial Cup game on Saturday afternoon so Ethan and I (Why-von told me the proper way of saying that) went to do some man-stuff. You know, junk food and sport. Burgers, hotdogs, nachos and ice cream followed by Fuzzy Peach chasers in the third period.
We saw Medicine Hat Tigers against Lewiston Maineiacs and decided that we should cheer for the Canadian team against those south-of-the-borderians. Roary the mascot for the Tigers was prowling the stands and so Ethan was quite excited by the whole thing. The Tigers ended up losing, but who cares? The food was good and the father and son time was awesome.

Mothers Day

Sunday was a great day -relaxing. On Sat. Rich let me sleep in since Sun. was church -yippeeee! On Sun. Rich made me breakfast and lunch. Then we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory with my parents and brother and Rich's parents. We had a fun time. We then took the boys to the park to run off some energy. It so great that we can all celebrate the day together. The boys were so good at the restaurant. Ethan ate an entire loaf of bread and Christian devoured two bowls of ice cream but hey they were behaved and I was able to enjoy my yummy dinner.
