rolling out the dough
Spreading the sauce
slicing their own meat
Aiden's cheese had to be just right
watching the pizzas bake
The boys love to bake so this summer I thought I would let them each pick out one thing from a kid's cookbook to make each week. So this week Aiden chose rice krispie squares. Ethan chose lime popsicles and Christian chose mini- pizzas. Each one was really easy to do, kept the boys occupied and was yummy. Here is the recipe for the lime popsicles:

Ethan chose lime popsicles and Christian chose mini- pizzas. Each one was really easy to do, kept the boys occupied and was yummy. Here is the recipe for the lime popsicles:
Apple Lime Freezies
Apple juice 2 cups
Lime jello powder 4 serving size
Apple juice 2 cups
Apple sauce 1 cup
plastic drink cups 10 (5oz size)
popsicle sticks 10 (I used my popsicle holders and then cups to make "slushies")
Pour first amount of apple juice into the saucepan. Heat over medium high heat until just starting to boil.
Remove from heat and add lime gelatin. Stir until dissolved.
Add the second amount of apple juice and the apple sauce and stir.
Pour mixture into whatever containers you're going to use and freeze.
